Can you recall yourself thinking “if only…”.
You can waste much of your precious time dreaming of the “if only’s”. That may lead you to end up miserable most of your life.
Happiness is an emotion determined by how you view and perceive your current circumstances. So looking for happiness to come to you through a change of scenery, may just be a dream never to come true.
Happiness is not something that can be possessed. Rather it’s how you master the challenges and triumphs in life, that determine the amount of happiness you experience.
Happiness can be yours on a daily basis when you follow some basic principles.
First, you must live in the NOW. Yesterday is gone and tomorrow has not yet arrived, so you need to be present in the NOW.
Secondly, you must learn to control your thinking. Happiness is a state of mind. To acquire it… bring your mind into its proper state.
Lastly, you may have heard of that ‘Gratitude is an attitude’. If you consider what you can be thankful for, instead of dwelling on your problems, you will find the pathway to happiness is easier to travel than you might have hoped.
