Stress vs Burnout

While you’re usually aware of being under a lot of stress, you don’t always notice burnout when it happens. In this video I’ll explain the remarkable difference between Stress and Burnout

Hello, I’m The Stress Master,

Burnout is often the result of unrelenting stress.  It’s not the same as too much stress. Stress involves too much: pressures that demand too much of you mentally, emotionally, and physically.

Stress is a system in our body that, when demands on us outstrip our ability to cope, it stops working properly.

And when this untenable situation doesn’t go away… bad things are going to happen.

Burnout, on the other hand, is about not enough. Being burned out means feeling empty, devoid of motivation, and beyond caring. People experiencing burnout often don’t see any hope of positive change in their situations.
