7 Confidence Killers

Everyone can become confident by decreasing self-defeating thought patterns.

In this video I talk about how your thoughts and behaviours are driving your stress levels to uncontrollable heights…and I list 7 negative thought patterns and behaviours that are responsible.

Hello, I’m The Stress Master,

My name is Ches Moulton.

If you get value from this video…please Give it a “thumbs Up”…and if you’re new here…subscribe to the channel…leave a comment… and please…remember to click the bell so you’ll know when I post more videos designed to help you get control of your stress. Once and for all.

See if you’ve got any of these evildoers in your thoughts:

1. The All or Nothing Sniper:

Thinking you’re are a failure when your performance is not perfect. Don’t spend so much energy being so hard on yourself!

2. The Sky is Falling attitude:

There is a disaster hiding behind every corner. ‘I will never get promoted’ or ‘Nobody likes me’ etc.

3. Negative Magnification:

You magnify your losses, while simultaneously decreasing your wins.

4. The ‘If I feel it, it must be so’ Trigger:

A person can never be confident until they learn how they are feeling doesn’t necessarily match up with the truth. The ‘I feel stupid so I must be stupid’ syndrome allows us to let our emotions run our lives. Don’t blindly accept emotions as truth.

5. The Sinister Should:

Should statements are more about what you think other people expect from you than what you really want.

6. Using Labels:

We use this to blame things on others and ourself. If you are going to think labels, label yourself an able person.

7. Compliment Constrictor:

You talk the compliment down or even worse, you think the person made it to belittle or embarrass you.

What confidence-killing, stress inducing thoughts inform you?
